Stonebridge Life offers term and whole life insurance to their policyholders. Term life is insurance that provides protection for a set number of years, or a term. If the insured dies within that specified time period, death benefits will be paid to the beneficiaries. Otherwise, the policy expires and renewal is necessary to continue protection. Stonebridge’s terms come in intervals of 10 years and provide coverage of $25,000, $50,000, $75,000 or $100,000. Juvenile term is also available, providing coverage up to $5,000 for children or grandchildren ages 3 months to 18 years.
Whole life insurance provides lifelong protection. As long as the premiums are continuously made, death benefits will be paid to the beneficiary after the death of the policyholder. A cash value accumulates with the premium payments and can be borrowed by the policyholder.
