The most dangerous intersections in Wyoming
By Insure.com
What makes a bad intersection? Sometimes it's bad drivers and sometimes it's the intersections themselves that make for hazardous, accident-prone driving conditions. Mistimed traffic signals, poor lines of vision, or a lack of left-hand turn signals all can contribute to accidents at intersections.
Based on State Farm auto accident data from 1999 and 2000, here are the most dangerous intersections in Wyoming. The intersections are ranked using State Farm's "danger index," which includes the number of crashes at each intersection, adjusted for the severity of those crashes and adjusted for State Farm's market share in the local area.
