Below is a quoting worksheet to help you keep track of auto insurance quotes you get from different companies.
In the spaces under the coverages, write in the limits and/or deductibles for the quotes. There is a space for the dollar amount of the quote, whether it's a six-month or annual premium, and the types of payment arrangements you can make.
Insurance companies write policies in many ways: directly to consumers via telephone or (in growing numbers) the web, through independent agents who do business with more than one company, and through "captive" agents who only write for one company at time. We suggest you call as many companies and agents as you can.
